Revamped logistical challenges  – opened a new manufacturing plant in Bramalae, Ontario, Canada for Canadian appliance manufacturers

First to bring the all glass front oven door with stainless frame

First to bring the oven window for self-cleaning ovens without a metal shield (utilizing borosilicate glass)
1975
First to bring the stainless steel oven door frame with vent slots to cool outside surface of glass doors
1980’s

Revamped logistical challenges – opened a new manufacturing plant in Clarksville, Tennessee
1982
Vertically integrated into horizontal glass tempering to support the production of oven doors, oven windows and refrigerator glass shelving
1985
First to successfully promote double coated Low-E glass as a replacement for borosilicate, achieving large cost savings
1985
First to satisfy industry needs by achieving 500-hour salt spray using powder paint
1986
First to successfully paint and temper all glass oven door fronts in white using low iron glass
1989
Revamped logistical challenges – relocating to a new manufacturing plant
in Athens, Tennessee from Michigan

First to successfully roll form and powder coat automotive luggage shade cassettes

First component manufacturer to bring tubular hydroformed handles to the appliance industry

First to bring brushed stainless steel, hydroformed handles to the appliance industry

Revamped logistical challenges – opened a new manufacturing plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico

Received ISO 9000 certification for the Athens and Mills de Mexico facilities
