Tennessee-based metal fabricator Mills Products Incorporated has been contracted to manufacture hydroformed desk legs for office furniture brand Steelcase, a global, publicly traded company based in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Mills manufactures the fixed height and adjustable L- and post desk legs that are part of Steelcase’s modular c:scape office furniture line by using tubular hydroforming. This technique allowed Steelcase designers to achieve the distinctive leg shapes that are a prominent and recognizable features of all c:scape desk formations.
