Mills Products (Brentwood, TN) is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement to be the exclusive licensee of a new patented process, developed by Middleville Tool and Die (Middleville, Michigan).  This patented process uses tubular stamping technology to make handles for the major appliance market.   Since 1945 Mills Products has used innovation to meet the changing needs of appliance and other manufacturers. Mills Products was the first to bring hydroforming to the appliance industry in 1996. The utilization of this patented process to manufacture handles allows the product designer more design freedom than most other processes. Additionally, this patented process can replace more costly tubular applications that utilize castings or aluminum extrusions. The patented process is also being utilized in other industries such as automotive and office furniture. In the future, markets such as recreational vehicles, medical furniture, heavy truck, aerospace and many others are likely to benefit from this new technology.
