Mills Products Expands Quality Engineering Capabilities

(ATHENS, Tenn.) October 31, 2016 — Mills Products, Inc., a 71-year-old ISO 9001-certified American contract manufacturer with a track record of producing superior hydroformed, roll formed, and tube stamped metal parts for OEMs and suppliers in the appliance and automotive industries, has hired two employees to further enhance its quality engineering capabilities.

Jason Watson joins Mills Products as a Quality Engineer. Watson has a background in quality assurance, engineering support, and manufacturing supervision, having worked as a Quality Engagement Manager with Product Action of East Tennessee, where he oversaw the analysis of product production and the correction of root cause analysis for non-conforming parts.

Mills has also hired Brady Harris, a designer with quality inspection experience, as a Drafter in its engineering department. Harris has a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, Tenn., and held positions as Engineering Technician and Quality Inspector with NIC Global in Gallatin, Tenn. Harris grew up in Athens, Tenn., where Mill Products’s headquarters is located, and is delighted to return to his hometown.
